About Me
I was born in the city of Kaohsiung, Taiwan inspired by the vibrancy of the city’s culture, festivals and nature, dancing on a small homemade coffee table. My love of dance ignited as I entered the world of traditional Chinese dance and Indian Dance. Eventually that translated into a passion for Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, and Jazz. I have always had an inclination towards all facets of the arts. I often model, gig, and pursue other artistic endeavors through philanthropic and social event programming. My multi-cultural upbringing has empowered a need to show that art can give a voice to those that can’t always articulate something with words.
Education
I attended the University of Arizona where I graduated summa cum laude, Outstanding Senior for the College of Fine Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance as well as an Arts Management Minor. I had the privilege to perform masterworks ranging from Balanchine and Jessica Lang ballets, to quirky Modern pieces by Larry Keigwin. That triple track program has truly inspired me to continually strive to be the most well-rounded and versatile artist I can be. I also got involved in various aspects of the arts and lead an ambassador program, worked closely with the College of Fine Arts, and local non profit arts organizations. I am forever grateful for that education and am excited to sustain my artistic growth throughout my career.
Goals
To truly delve into my goals I could easily write a book. However, I strive to be authentic, vulnerable, dedicated, and intelligent. I hope to combine my humanistic and artistic endeavors and nurture my values. I am also a big advocate of equality for all and blasting stereotypes. I love juxtapositions and things that spark curiosity. Basically, be a badass babe. I have always held that you can never be overdressed or overeducated. With that said, in essence, my goals are simple: to cultivate myself into a multidimensional, collaborative catalyst for revelation and artistry.
